They're Grounded and It's Been Great!

Do you have someone in your household that just gets to THAT specific point and then everyone had better watch out!!!?? Well DH hit that point the other day. You know how it is- they've had a bad day and Wham- everything just ticks them off. (Laura- if you are reading this- stop laughing because you know it happens at your house too)

Anyway- the other day DH had just had enough and he came out with guns blaring! The poor boys caught the worst of it! Grounded for 3 out of 7 of the last days of summer break!! Yikes!! No TV, No PlayStation, No playing with friends! Man have you lost your ever loving mind!!?? This was gonna be an ugly three days!!!

But they were given a choice- 2 weeks of no TV or PlayStation or the three days of nothing- they chose the three days.

Anyway- I was so dreading these three days but guess what- they've actually been great. Things have been peaceful- the boys have actually played together, of they've sat upstairs on one of their bunk beds and had great conversations. We've all three played games together or read together or just hung out. It hasn't been all that bad.

Tomorrow is their last day on restriction- let's hope it goes as well as the other days have gone.

If I didn't know better I'd almost wish that they were grounded for longer than three days- but I know it can only last for so long!!! Oh well, I'll enjoy it while it lasts!
