I am a Domestic Goddess

Yes, I am a domestic goddess- just ask my dear husband! ok, maybe that isn't such a good idea- but I did get so much accomplished yesterday that I feel like a domestic goddess!

I painted the downstairs bathroom- now listen - to you that might not seem like much but I am SO not a painter (btw I'll show before and afters on Tackle it Tuesday of next week).

I also washed and folded 3 loads of laundry, cleaned off my desk (ok, I dumped everything from my desk into the clean clothes hamper but tonight I'm sorting through all of that!)

And I actually COOKED dinner- and nothing was cooked in the microwave either! We had meatloafball muffins, real mashed potatoes and green beans with a touch of liquid smoke - yummy!!!

Then I cleaned the kitchen and went upstairs and soaked in the tub while I read Harry Potter and sipped a glass of wine- what a perfect way to treat myself after my hard days work!

Ok, ok, I know many of you are saying- oh big deal is that all you did! But for me it was a day full of accomplishment.

So now I'm gonna start my own Domestic Goddess award(I hope this hasn't been done already)! I'm gonna nominate two fellow bloggers that I feel deserve the Domestic Goddess award for various reasons! Here are my nominations:

Beth F. over at I Should be Folding Laundry because the woman actually mopped her floor after eating too much pizza!!!

Boomamma- what other person can take a trip to the doctor to get her ears cleaned out and turn it into a reason to clean her house!!

So ladies! Chose the next two Domestic Goddesses!!!

I'm very impressed by your productivity! I never get that much done in a single day, so I agree that you deserve the title. :)

I do agree that for one day (or for me a week!) that's a great accomplishment!
