It's time for the Wrap up for Callapidder Days Fall Into Reading Challenge. I did ok on this but not great. I did end up reading some other books that weren't on my list-and to be honest I can't even remember what they all were-except the one I just finished about a hour ago! :-)
Anyway- below is my original list. The books in red are the ones I completed. It's pretty obvious that I prefer Fiction over Non-Fiction. The only reason I did not finish my fiction list is my MIL has Wrapped in Rain and hasn't returned it yet.
Looking at my non-fiction list reminds me that I REALLY need to pick those books up and read them. They are important books and I definitely have a need for the knowledge that is on the pages of each of them!
Non-Fiction
The Power of a Praying Parent- Stormie Omartian
The Power of a Praying Wife- Stormie Omartian
Confessions of a Prayer WimpThe Gift of Dyslexia- Ronald Davis
FictionThe Skirt Man - Shelly Reuben
Wrapped in Rain - Charles MartinBetween Georgia- Joshilyn JacksonPlain Truth- Jodi Picoult (I had Keeping Faith here but I stopped reading it because I was very turned off by her topic) Forty to Life- Dave Jackson The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Decked Out- Neta Jackson
I enjoyed participating in the challenge. I wish I had done a better job of writing my reviews for the books I did complete. I only wrote reviews for two of the books. I enjoyed all of them. I was sad to finish the Yada Yada Prayer Group book because it is the last in the series. If you haven't read that series yet you really should! They are awesome books about female Christian friendships!!
Looking forward to participating in Katrina's next challenge- whenever it will be! Thanks Katrina for being such a great hostess!!

Hi Beth
I'm honored to see my second book (Confessions of a Prayer Wimp)on your reading list. I hope you'll have time soon to read it--for the laughter and the encouragement! ;-) When you do, let me know what you think.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2008.
Mary Pierce

Great job! I have not started the Yada series yet, but they are on my TBR list (that is every growing)! Merry Christmas.
I'm popping over from Every Designs, and saw your reading list.
Read all of Charles Martin's books! They are all amazing. I did an "excellent Christian Fiction" post awhile back and he is one of my favorites.

Oh Beth, I didn't write ANY book reviews for my fall books -- I'm really horrible about that.
Looks like you read some great books this fall, and it's very cool that Mary Pierce stopped in. :)
