Tired Sunday

Well, let me begin by telling you a little about myself and you'll probably get a better understanding of why I've used the blog title that I have.

I have two boys- 10 and 8 (almost 9) and you can imagine the level of testosterone that is flowing in this house. Add a husband in and there's more. Now add two college baseball players living here for the summer and you can guess that I'm drowning in testosterone! LOL

Really it isn't so bad. I love being a "boy momma" as my DH describes me. Had I given birth to girls I'm sure I would have managed but it wouldn't have been easy. I'm just not a girlie girl by any stretch of the imagination.

For example- my children think I'm the greatest mom because I can "fart" with my hand and armpit (that one shocked them). My oldest son told me I was the BEST MOM EVER the other day because I bought him a shower curtain of his favorite college sports team. I don't act like the world has come to an end when odd noises are "blasted" around the house (you can use your imagination there).

It's fun being the mom of two boys- and "summer foster mom" to two others-I think God truely knew that I'd handle boys much better than girls. Believe me, I've been in conversations of moms with girls and in many of those conversations I have looked toward heaven and uttered the words "thank you God for giving me boys"!!
